Cheerleading Groups

Cheerleading is a unique athletic discipline which puts together cheers, chants, arm motions, jumps, tumbling, and dance. The aim of Cheerleading is to raise self esteem, build confidence, and encourage self discipline whilst having fun. Cheerleading is known as the sport of smiles, its great fun and educates children to keep fit whilst developing team work and friendship.

Exeter Gymnastics Club introduced cheerleading sessions in the summer of 2008 and rapidly developed into a team winning combination.

Groups are structured into Senior/Junior Starlites and Intermediates and a Beginner & Development Group. All sessions are conducted by qualified coaches and operate on three evenings a week.

Sessions are as follows:

CHEER TOTS (4 - 6 yrs)
Fridays:
4 - 5pm / 5 - 6pm

BEGINNER AND DEVELOPMENT GROUP
6 to 9 years old: Friday: 7 - 8pm
10+ years old: Friday: 8 - 9pm

INTERMEDIATES
Saturdays: 3.30 - 5.30 pm

ADULT CHEER
Wednesdays: 8 - 10pm

STARLITES
Saturdays: 4.30 - 7pm
